Sweet Treats For You

Hey everyone! Time to bring out the Christmas stamps again because it's almost mid-December!
Anyways, you can check out the entire release here.

You can also find Mail Call details at the moment of this post ;)

Quite a straight forward card today. I've basically painted all the images separately and stuck them down on the card. I love painting my images because of that hand-made feel it gives and i think that's gives a special feeling to a christmas card.

Of course I can't stay away from stickles but if you have a bunch. It's time to take them out because christmas cards are the ones that needs all the sparkles the most :)

I've gold embossed the bottom strip to bring out the christmas vibe.

((VIDEO)) Christmas Card with Non-Christmas Stamps

Hello crafty friends! It's Jess and today I have a card and a video with a Christmas theme using the On a Roll and Make a Wish stamp sets.

I was talking with my mom about the On a Roll stamp set and she said they would make cute Christmas ornaments so I decided to make her idea a reality.

I colored up the armadillos with traditional Christmas colors but left the bodies more realistic. I added lines to make them appear to hang like ornaments and then added a large sentiment to fill the space. You can get more details in the video:

Use a ruler to help you draw a straight line down to the armadillos. Varying the heights and colors of the armadillos makes this simple card more interesting.

Sending Holiday Bear-Mail!

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a cute, fun and slightly masculine card!

Guys, I seriously can't handle the cuteness overload with that Bear Mail stamp set!! I am in LOVE with those images! Ha! I just *had* to break it out and color up a sweet little bear in some buffalo plaid! :D

Shall we get started making this card?

- stamp and color your cute little images! (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!)
- once dry, fussy cut out
- I also stamped and colored a 2nd package that he is holding, so I could pop it up with foam tape
- I also added a FUN little pom-pom to the top of hat, because I can't resist the pom-poms this year! Ha!

- on your card front, mask off the 'ground'. (I used a piece of printer paper)
- ink blend! I used Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks
- stamp your sentiments in versafine black ink and heat emboss in clear
- assemble the card and you're all done!

I went for a more masculine feel for this card (since I'll be sending it to my Brother-In-Law), but you could EASILY color the scarf and hat in other colors to personalize it to YOUR recipient!!

I combined two of the newer stamp sets to create this card! The ADORABLE bear is from the CUTE Bear Mail stamp set! The sentiment is from the CLASSIC and soooo fun Season's Greetings set!

Hello Baby

Hello crafty friends, Nicole here.

Besides all the christmas cards, I needed a baby card for a family that just got their third child.

I wanted to create a baby card for a boy but not with the typical baby-boy-blue. Because little Mael was born in December, I thought stars would be nice. And I wanted to personalize the card with the unique alphabet. To add some cuteness, I colored this super adorable snail, one of my favorite critters by Create A Smile.

  1. create the background by using a stencil and some Distress Oxide Inks and an ink blending tool. I used "fossilized amber" and "spiced marmelade". Die cut the panel with the stitched frame die.
  2. Create the gras by tearing some green paper and die cut it with the same stitched frame die to make it match your panel. Glue it to your panel.
  3. stamp, color and fussy cut the snail. I used colored pencils.
  4. stamp the letters and fussy cut them.
  5. stamp the "welcome" and the stars
  6. adhere the snail and the letters with some foam tape
  7. add "pale gold" Nuvo Crystal Drops to the panel and some Glossy Accents on the heart
  8. to make your snail extra cute and fun, add a googly eye ;-)

Mixing looks like the clean geometric alphabet and the cute and playful snail can create a completely new look.

Personalizing a baby card by adding the new borns name is always a good idea. :-) It makes your handmade creation even more thoughtful and unique.

Lovely critters / welcome baby * Willkommen Baby / Crystal letters upper / Double stitched rectangle

Christmas Gift Boxes

Hey stampers, Anni here.

With Christmas ahead there is not only the need for Christmas cards but also for gift boxes. I made three and decorated them using Create A Smile stamps.

I LOVE to make gift boxes. So I went through the new stamps and l searched for sets that would fit on a box: Tollpatschige Weihnacht/Santa Clumsy and Sweets & Treats are perfect for this.

  • Gift boxes are easy and fast to make if you have a die. Then all you need is an image and a sentiment to decorate the box.
  • For the box that I used the set Sweets & Treats for I did some masking. This way you can use the filling of the stocks to decorate the box.
  • When I colour with alcohol markers I like to use a coloured pencil to add the shadows. With the finer tip it is easier.
  • For the finishing touch I used Nuvo drops in various colours.

Warm Thoughts!

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to our crafty space.
Raluca here with a new card showcasing the absolutely gorgeous "Delicate Decorations" stamp set.

This stamp set is so gorgeous and it's part of the latest release. I wanted to color one ornament and make it the focal point of the card.

First I stamped the ornament i black and colored some portions of it using a red pen. I added some glitter to it and fussy cut it.
Next I die cut a light grey panel with one of the stitched rectangles and then I stamped in VersaMark and white heat embossed one of the focal points from the "Hocus Pocus" set.
I mounted the ornament in the center using foam tape and mounted the panel onto a white card base.
Next I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and white heat embossed it on a red strip of cardstock and mounted it on the grey panel.
Glued a few clear sequins and my card was done. Fast and easy and the result is fabulous.
